Keep Mural boards next to the decisions they inform

Overview

The Mural integration keeps visual collaboration connected to product work. Mural is a visual collaboration platform built for design thinking, workshops, and async teamwork, and its boards embed live in Productboard's editor.

Embed a board with a link

Paste a Mural URL into a feature description, roadmap objective, or piece of feedback. Productboard detects the link and renders it as an embedded, interactive board.

Work with the canvas inline

Interact with the full Mural canvas directly in Productboard, with changes reflected in real time. Expand any embedded board to fullscreen when you need more room, then keep working without leaving Productboard.

Attach the artifacts behind the work

Embed affinity maps, ideation canvases, and how-might-we exercises alongside the feature ideas they produced. Attach journey maps and planning boards to roadmap objectives so stakeholders can see the thinking behind the plan. Surfacing a shared Mural workspace where decisions are documented helps engineering, design, and product stay in sync.

Setup

No admin configuration is required — the integration is enabled by default for every Productboard workspace, and any user with editor permissions can embed a board.

1. Copy a board URL from your Mural workspace.
2. Paste it into a feature description, roadmap objective, or piece of feedback.
3. The interactive embed renders automatically. Team members can view and work with the board inline or expand it to fullscreen.
4. If the board is private, sign in to Mural when prompted.
