Access any feature's latest designs

Embed live Figma or FigJam links in any product entity or doc. Capture FigJam sticky notes as pieces of feedback.

Overview

The Figma integration keeps design context inside Productboard. Paste a Figma or FigJam link into any Editor field and it renders as a live, interactive embed that follows the source file. With the Productboard widget for FigJam, workshop outputs land on your Insights board as pieces of feedback.

Embed live designs and prototypes

Paste a Figma file or prototype link into an Editor field on the Insights, Features, or Roadmap board and Productboard renders a live, interactive embed. Changes made in Figma appear automatically. To show a specific frame, enable Link to current selection in Figma's Share menu before copying the link.

Bring FigJam boards into your docs

Drop a FigJam link into any Editor field to embed a live whiteboard session next to your feature specs and roadmap docs. Pan and zoom within the embed inline, or expand any Figma or FigJam embed to fullscreen to interact with prototypes and inspect designs without leaving Productboard.

Create feedback from FigJam stickies

During a FigJam session, use the Productboard widget to select one or more sticky notes and push them to Productboard, with optional user attribution and tags. Each sticky becomes an individual piece of feedback on the Insights board, tagged with Figma as its source. The widget works in FigJam files only.

Setup

Embeds need no admin setup — any user with edit access to the relevant feature, insight, or roadmap doc can add one:

  1. In Figma or FigJam, click Share, set the link's sharing permissions, and copy the link. Links set to "Only invited people" require viewers to sign in to Figma to see the embed.
  2. Paste the link into any Productboard Editor field. The embed renders automatically.

To send FigJam stickies to Productboard:

  1. In a FigJam file you can edit, open the toolbox, go to the Widgets tab, and search for "Productboard."
  2. Add the widget to the board and complete the sign-in when prompted.
  3. Select sticky notes, optionally add user attribution and tags, and click Create Notes.
