Prioritize by how your users behave

Sync behavioral cohorts from Amplitude into Productboard as user segments for filtering and prioritization.

Overview

The Amplitude integration syncs cohorts built in Amplitude into Productboard as imported user segments. Filter the Insights board, Features board, and roadmaps by how users behave, and weight prioritization scores toward the segments that matter most. Automated syncs keep the cohorts current on an hourly or daily cadence.

Filter by behavioral cohort

Use cohorts built in Amplitude — power users, new users, at-risk customers — to filter feedback, features, and roadmaps in Productboard. Synced cohorts appear as imported user segments, available across the Insights board, Features board, and roadmaps.

See what matters to each segment

Break down which features and feedback themes are most relevant to different behavioral user groups. Segment-level views mean the right features get built for the right users.

Weight User Impact Scores

Use Amplitude segment data to weight prioritization scores in Productboard, so the relative importance of different user groups shows up in what rises to the top.

Keep cohorts in sync

Automated syncs run hourly or daily; one-time syncs can be re-run manually when needed, and a sync completes in about 30 minutes. Both user attribute cohorts (role, job title, time on platform) and behavioral cohorts (power users, disengaged users) are supported.

Setup

Productboard workspace admins generate the access token; the connection itself is configured from Amplitude. You'll need an active Amplitude account.

  1. In Productboard, generate an access token under Settings → Integrations → Public API.
  2. In Amplitude, set up Productboard as a data destination: paste the access token and choose the user matching key (email or Productboard external ID).
  3. Choose which cohorts to sync.
