Our tech stack
You’ll work with a modern data stack and development practices, including:
Tech stack: Our core tools include dbt, Snowflake, Looker, Amplitude, Keboola, Segment, and AWS.
Languages: We primarily use SQL and Python to build data pipelines and transformations.
DataOps methodology:
All code is version-controlled in GitHub
We follow a strong code review culture
CI pipelines and automated checks via GitHub Actions
Agile workflows managed in Jira
About you
Bachelors or above in quantitative field: Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, or related field
5+ years of experience in developing, and maintaining robust data models from structured and unstructured sources
5+ years of experience writing accurate and effective code in SQL (Python is a plus)
Experience with modern data storage and processing technologies (i.e, Snowflake, Looker, Airflow, and dbt or similar)
Experience proactively identifying opportunities to improve ETL & dashboard performance and cost
Experience leveraging your excellent communication skills to thrive in ambiguous environments where problems are not well-defined and evolve quickly
Experience collaborating directly with data science and product engineering teams
A desire to work with amazing, passionate people who care deeply about solving challenging problems to improve Discord

Responsibilities
As a Senior Data Engineer at Productboard, you’ll play a key role in shaping the foundation of our data ecosystem. Your work will directly empower teams across the company to make smarter, faster decisions.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, GTM, and Data Analysts to build and scale a world-class data infrastructure
Design, develop, and own core data models and pipelines that power analytics and drive product insights
Work cross-functionally with Product Management, Engineering, Finance, and IT to unlock opportunities and improve internal systems
Partner with Compliance, IT, and Engineering teams to ensure we meet data governance and privacy standards
Solve complex, often unstructured data challenges with creative and scalable solutions
Provide accurate, timely data to support executive decision-making and board reporting
